808 Women of Faith was established in the home of Tashanna L.K. Cortez in June of 2008. After her first individual fast to the Lord and a season of total surrender of her past, Tashanna felt the prompting of the Holy spirit to use her gift of writing to touch the hearts of other women in Hawaii and around the globe for Christ Jesus and be an encouragement to them of God’s love, forgiveness and grace in her own life. Founded on Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him (the accuser of the brethren) by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony” In faith she wrote the very first newsletter on June 5, 2008 and has continued by God’s grace every month since.
